    I was thinking which size of adsense ads bring more money in my pocket, I don't think so it is the main source of income

    if you site get good hits, then it is main source of earning, but you also have to put good affiliates (those convert good with sale page or support) on your site. Just a advice.

    Most people are of the opinion that 300*250 has the highest CTR

    However, it is completely dependent on your website design and niche as to which ads would work the best

    It depends on your website design, colors, etc. 336 banner is working good for me.

    For me, the 336*280 and 250*250 ad units work the best.
