    Even in this case there are many options before a revolt against the government should be taken into consideration, it IMO is not something to be taken lightly. The gov takes away the entire constitution, starts mass killings, mass roundups of political enemies would be a better reason to use the 2nd ammendment.

    The current administration is labeling anyone who disagrees with them as anti-american.

    When the land of the free and the brave becomes the land of get on board or be labled a rebel. Then there are rebels controlling the goverment.

    That is exactly why the second amendment may be of value here.

    Noppid I agree the 2nd ammendment is of value, it always is, even if a group is not attempting to overthrow the government, the government knows the citizens do practice the right of gun ownership which I'm sure to at least a degree keeps them in line..

    I just simply don't feel we are to the point of the need to forcefully take over the government.
