    By the way YoYo...
What country do you think respects civil liberties more?
Do have any better alternatives? What country are you from?
    Has it found a solution?

I don't agree with forbidding religion and making it illegal but if UN gets off it's ass and educate the world population through different literacy programs and bring an end to religion by making people aware of stupidity of superstition called religion; I think it is a very good thing and I fully support that. ;)

I have only one world for world free of religious stupidity; AMEN. ;)

It won’t be by education. It will be by annihilation of all religion, as we know it, and those who hold on to their faith. Once you kill us all Gworld, then you can educate impressionable children. Now thats evolution at its best. ;)

Religion doesn`t seem to be the problem. Intolerance and a lack of acceptance that people have different beliefs is. Everyone assumes that what they believe or think is the truth. When all it is, is what they believe.
We all percieve the world through an imperfect means, filtered through our existing beliefs. One of the greatest signs of intelligence is the ability to say ... " I don`t know " .

Not even a question, I've stated it before. Our freedoms are more important than deaths, call me heartless but that is my opinion, it's what your country was founded on. How long does this 'temporary go on for' who's to say it is only temporary, once the government is allowed a certain power they rarely ever give it up, in fact they fight for MORE power not the other way around.

Now hypothetically lets say giving up freedoms could

    #1 Save 600,000 citizens
but with the government gaining more power, a government such as Hitlers forms, Saddams, Communism, etc. which brings to
#2 The government themselves jailing and killing millions..

    Which would YOU prefer?

Bingo. Not to mention the PNAC documents call for a new pearl harbor.

Face the facts. 9/11 was an inside job. Bush is a puppet. Do the research before you spout the party line all you kool-aid drinkers. WAKE THE FARK UP.

I agree and I do have a problem with the president breaking the constitution. And it appears that the system is working as the people are speaking out. And next month or so the issue will be before the courts and the president will have to answer to the allegations. And no matter what the outcome the people will make or break the presidents political career through the vote.
With a limit on the term of office misuse can only go so far.

I agree with this too, saving a few lives is not worth taking away our freedoms,

Doug the UN can't even get away with trading oil for food crookedly without getting caught, and you think its going to destroy all religions.

Doug I can't wait until abortions and same sex marriage are mandatory, we can get the number of the beast tattooed on our foreheads, and have giant drug induced orgys, hopefully with some good techno music in the background, its going to freekin rock.

Thing is that Bush NR1 job is to protect the country against new terrorattacks and he has done that work pretty well. Would it be better to see Empire State building to burn up than spying on some moslems a few years?

And it's not illegal since it is done by the US highest ordermen. It's like saying that it is illegal for a parent to buy a car for his/hers son/daughter.

(We all know that such primaristic things as democracy only exists in fairy tales, real democracy is ancient)

I am not debating you on the actual article, however what you're stating is the president can use the constitution as toilet paper, he's a 'president' not a 'king' big difference.

It's an important job, but many including me would argue other issues are just as important....................Upholding the constitution for 1 IMO trumps everything....

See the thing is, today muslims. Tomorrow people that talk to a muslim. The next day people who sit next to a muslim, without knowing, on the bus or train.

Then the next day, people that talk privately, cause they must be conspiring.

    Get it?

He 'could' if the US citizens allowed it....Natzi germany was also a bit different than the US, and I'm glad you brought this point up as it's exactly WHY some have a problem with tactics being carried out or tactics that could possibly be carried out.

    We are also a Republic.....Not a democracy...............
