"More" function not working

I have a really long article that I'd like to put on my homepage, but just some of it and not the entire article, so I was intending to use the "More" function. But, it's not working for some reason.

Anybody know of a fix for this?

I downloaded a few, but found that one of my plugins was conflicting with the more option. Funny thing is that I run it on several other blogs like this and never had this problem before.

hmmm, change the script to <a href=""> ?
