Being a redhead, being gay, being tall, being big eared.... there's so many reasons people get picked on.

    Do you feel special?

Naw, I just like pointing out irony when I see it, and I'm not talking about the irony of the supposedly racist Tea Party constantly sending people of color as their representatives to congress.

No, the irony I'm talking about is watching the folks on the left make racist slurs themselves. So much for the moral high ground.

For the record, I am not the one who gave picking on people based on the color of their skin or choice in sex partners the special category of "Hate Speech" that picking on someone because the are tall or redhead doesn't merit. That distinction was created by the very same folks on the left who are using the color of someone's skin to malign them.

I disagree (surprise). The left pick on Tea Partiers. The right pick on OWS people. We just all hate each other these days.

I was pondering Huckabee & robjones's point about removing God from schools. I don't think that's what caused the downhill stride of humanity. I was remembering you guys talking about a book a couple of years back that was blatantly telling you how to rip off the system. You all had a joke about how great it was and most said they'd employ those tactics, you included.

I think that's the same with everything, we all just want to be smartasses these days.

Psycho Lanza, and I'm not changing subject here, probably felt the same, in a way. "I'll show these assholes what to do with a gun."

Today is the time of the smartasses. I don't think most people themselves are inwardly bad, they just wanna buck the system.

The press gave us the ammunition to knock the Tea Partiers, so we did. As with anything, all we need is the ammunition to let fly with a tirade.

I wasn't aware OWS got anyone elected to office. There really isn't a comparison, is there.

You mean the press tried to find things to hate about the Tea Party, and so you did. One of the drums repeatedly beat by the press was that the Tea Party was racist. You are still missing the irony there, so I thought I'd bring it up again.

The funny thing is, press coverage these days is biased to the point of incredulity. The press spent months trying to find violence, racism, or anything nefarious at the Tea Party rallies and the best the could come up with were some posters of questionable taste. Meanwhile, at Union and Occupy Wall Street protests, violence and rape were a daily occurrence, but received very little attention from the press. It was readily viewable on Youtube though.

OWS was trying to change the system. Tea Partiers were trying to change the system. Both in their own ways.

I hate everything the Republican's stand for. If I see a newspaper story on George Bush chopping down his tree I will use that to further my prejudices. The c*nt shouldn't be chopping down trees kinda thing. :)

You hate Democrats, if you see a story on Obama picking his nose you will use that to destroy the bloke. It's what we do. Is it really the presses fault we do that? :)

It's 5am and I'm supposed to be at work at 10 (late night for me as i'm working on destroying the LNP opposition here :)) so I will re-read, watch and probably comment on the videos tomorrow.

Tim McVeigh was just trying to change the system. Jared Loughner was just trying to change the system. Bill Ayers was just trying to change the system.

In other useless comparissons, OWS is made up of humans and so is the Tea Party! Michael Jordan is black, and so is Erkle! Maybe sports center should do write ups on how piss poor Jordan's play was while hyping up a free throw made by Erkle in a street pickup game!

This is what passes for logic with you. Its stunning. There are many reasons OWS has no elected representatives, and most of them have to do with openly bad behavior that got very little mainstream media coverage. Rape. Violence. Use of human feces as a weapon. This is Occupy. There is no comparisson between the two, yet OWS got consistantly moderate media coverage, while the Tea Party was villified.

    Sad for you.
Actually, I have many friends who are Democrats, three of which hold/held elected office.

Obama does enough to necessitate his removal from office without using something idiotic like nose picking. No need to regurgitate it all here, as it has been posted often enough and the information never sticks to you.

You shouldn't have to work too hard on that project, they are doing a mighty fine job of it themselves.

Great article by Lefty Paul, Brisbane journalist discussing the Tea Party, racism, angry white men, hairy-legged feme-nazis blah blah blah in yesterdays local.

I guess seeing as you don't know how to read my posts there's not much point commenting on yours. Cheers.

LNP think avoiding comment until it all dies down is the right way to handle it. The MSM are strangely silent. Looks like we gotta do it ourselves. So I am.

I will send you link via PM of what i'm working on.

I saw something about this on Twitter the other day. Funniest thing ever in Australian Politics imho. The fact they think they have any chance whatsoever is laughable. When they say looney-right, they surely mean it. Hopefully Tony pulls out his slush fund money and puts them all in jail. Angry OLD men. LoL! :)

That Bernardi is certainly a case alright. I think he'd be better placed in the USA. Does that mean he left the LNP? Is off our payroll already?

What a cop out. Its been a long time since I've busted out this line, but..... RUN FOREST RUN

Poor Bob. Don't feel left out. Just because I didn't mention you by name doesn't mean I wasn't thinking of you when I mentioned ignorant left wing racists who are completely detached from reality. There was really no need to post an article to drive my point home. Perhaps the point of posting the article was to prove you aren't the only Australian who doesn't know the first thing about American politics? Reading the comments section of the article, clearly there are many of your fellow Australians who get it.

Poor Paul needs to get a hobby, or a life. Reading through that particular rant, as accustomed as we are to them, makes him sound like he is actually looking for a place within the angry, old white men. Or upset he wasn't offered a spot

    ---------------------

Someone left the liberals Asylum door open again.

    ---------------------

In Paul's world, it is OK for leftist interest groups to exist, but no others. You're an idiot, Paul.

    ---------------------

Gee Paul, you've knocked just about every Australian man, woman and child in that rant! Who's the angry one here? If you advocate that we all morph into a country populated by left-wing, semi-comatose idiots who aren't allowed an opinion, you're well on your way to being the final cracker in Julia's personal box of Jatz!

    ---------------------

Paul, I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and expel a better story than that

    ---------------------

Paul, did you forget to take your prozac this morning?

    ---------------------

    ...

It goes on and on and on. Apparently your ignorant hero is none to popular over there.

Stirring? Trolling you mean? Interesting take. Mikael/Solar Products liked to "stir" people as well. The net effect of his "stirring" was convincing everyone he met he was an idiot.

Reading the comments on his article, I would have to agree he has been very successful on that front. Mission accomplished?

Gee, what do you expect of readers of a News Limited newspaper. Never the sharpest tools in the shed. As Rupert's mum Elisabeth said "I'm very proud of my boy for what he has achieved, I dislike his tabloids and tv media intensely." If your own mother doesn't like your work ....

Trolling hey, so newspaper columnists now are trollers. Surely you apply the same freedom of speech rules to journalists in foreign countries as you do to ministers of the Westboro Church.

What are some Australians more equal than others? Is there any legitimate evidence out there to indicate those readers are any less representative of most Australians than the readership of any other newspaper? I doubt it. From the comments, about 9 out of 10 readers of his column thinks he is a lunatic. Its an opinion based on fact, considering how uninformed he is on the US Tea Party movement.

Don't sweat it man. At least one in 10 Australians shares your disorder. You are not alone.

Your words, not mine. I simply thought he was a moron. You are the one who called him a troll.

I won't be sweating it man. I was having a conversation about Australian politics with Bushranger without reference to you and you butted in with your usual inanities. Who cares man.

eheh, well you can try but I'm frying more important fish at the moment.

I note that Obama detractors have no idea what he's up to. In fact I hear he's done more for the gun lobby than many previous governments yet the Republicans, not known for their honesty, point to him as "he's going to take my guns". It seems Americans are now gonna get what the Republicans wanted. NO more automatic weapons.

You people need to stick with the truth as God gives you what you want. When you BS and say Obama is taking away our guns, God is listening and sending messages to Obama.

"Take their guns" says God to Obama. So Obama does what he's told.

TRUTH, HONESTY and INTEGRITY are the way to go fellas. God is listening.

Not sure what to say to all that. Automatic weapons are already illegal, Obama already spelled out what other specific guns/magazines he is interested in making illegal this morning, and "God" doesn't talk to Obama or anyone else for that matter.

Democrats viciously guard the minority demographic. Expect any minority candidate from the right to be relentlessly attacked. If it's a black male, bring on the sexual accusations. If it's any women, then she's accused of being stupid.
