Just got word of a large drop in Payout for Blockbuster. Down to $25...that is going to hurt.

This payout drop isn't really much of a surprise... there is no way that they could keep doing $52 a lead. Blockbuster is taking market share away from Netflix but the Total Access program is losing a ton of money while doing so.

Yeah, price drop all across the board for Blockbuster now. They could of at least warned us a week ahead of time or something.

Not long ago AZ announced "teaming up" with Blockbuster for top payouts ...

The price drop is not across the board. This may have something to do with so many AZ affiliates bidding on the trademarked term ... you can search Google and still see so many ...

Sign up for Performics - their street on Blockbuster is $33 :)

good luck getting any kind of warning besides 24hr notice if your lucky ;). but drop in payout is never good for the affiliate.

That blockbuster payout drop hurt a bit, but look at it this way. It's still 25 dollars. But if you have to stop promoting it then don't let me stop you. I won't be mad at u :) .

But they could have warned us though a bit sooner.

Payout for BlockBuster in Copeac is $41.60/lead. I guess many of us will switch to that 1. Not sure with payout for other affiliate network.

Not really. Check out BlockBuster description from COPEAC.

Sometime it is better not to stick to ONLY ONE affiliate network, so that you can make comparison. :)

Singlesnet drop from $4.xx to $3.xx
Dada drop from $13 to $10
Bockbuster drop from $52 to $25
    True dropped too

    Dropping $ like no tomorrow

They are so quick to write emails announcing price increases but when the price drops so many of you are saying that you were not notified promptly. Search marketers need time in advance in order to adjust bids accordingly and shut off the campaign before losing money.

Looks like COPEAC is accepting search traffic with a NICE $41.60 payout ... only search restriction is no trademark bidding ... although so many AZ affiliates are still bidding on the trademark ...

Waiting to hear back from COPEAC regarding approval :) ..... nice find!

COPEAC approval is quite fast for me and they allow you to fill out W8BEN form online (for international affiliate). I get approved after 1 -2 days.

well decreases are part of the game. While it isn't good "in general", it can be good. as with decreases means less competition which means more opportunity for you to lower the amount u are paying for advertising. Which in the long run CAN be better for you.

That's a good point... people get scared out of the market = more room for other affiliates to play :)
