more clicks than visitors

I noticed one of my websites this morning had only 2 visitors but 5 clicks. I wonder if someone is trying to click bomb my account to get it banned. What can I do in this situation?

in my opinion, i guess it will be too early to conclude that for now. but i suggest you try to watch your clicks and visits for some time. then if you continue to notice the same results or worse..........CONTACT GOOGLE ASAP!!!!

Thanks for the advice. How would I contact Google with something like this? They do not exactly make it easy for publishers to contact them.

It could be that someone clicked on a link ad and got that list of ads and clicked on 5 of them. It happens every now and then if you wake up early enough to look at your account before you have any real traffic but if you are getting a decent amount of visitors it should even out by the end of the day. Now if you have 20 visitors and 40 clicks or something then I would definitely think someone was just click bombing your site.

Ah thanks. That makes sense. This is a low traffic site with link ads on it.

I would not even bother contacting google, if it was a click bomb you would have had 30-40 clicks or more. It is to my mind actually good to get more clicks than visitors. If they are genuine clicks then why would google penalise you. This "Myth" the a CTR of more than 100% is likely to get you banned is just that "A myth". The only people who are on here claiming they got banned for a too high CTR are just talking a load of crap as they probably just clicked on their own ads. I have one site in particular that regularly gets far more clicks than visitors. If this happens to you, you are doing something right and not something wrong!!!!

I suggest you first your contact the Google Adsense Team, and second thoroughly daily check the website traffic. And you can off the adsense ad for few days.
