More Clicks But No Earning

Hello Friends,

Please help me. I am running a campaign for many travel sites. Recently, I have started new campaign. But for that campaign I am recieving more clicks but not any earning.
Also, I am having a question in my mind. Using many keywords (which are not searched enough) can degrade my site's performance in Adwords?

Adsense clicks or adwords clicks? You did not say. You spend money for your ads to be clicked on in adwords.

obviously its adwords, if it was adsense he would of posted this in the adsense topic page.

It completely depends on what your selling, maybe your ads dont suit your site and mislead people slightly so it turns out that your not giving them what there looking for. Try be very precise in your campaign, you wont get much clicks, but when you do they'll be worth it.

Or maybe your sites useless, have you ever gotten any sales from it? Dont mean to be hard on you or anything, but usually thats the case.

Agree that some sites sell and some dont. Sometimes just changing a few words or a bit of appearance can make a huge difference.
If it's your own site try tweaking it, if not, forget it and move on to the next one.

 

the most common mistake when people is marketing on adwords is to focus on the number of clicks.

That's partially true, cause a website with no visitors doesn't make money.

But what you really need to focus on is who is clicking on your ads.
lets say that you have a website where you sell flowers. if in your ad you say "free information about flowers" i'm pretty sure you can bring a lot of people on your site but probably none is interested in buying flowers.

on the other side if you say in your ad "special discount on flowers today" maybe you will have to spend more money to bring the same amount of people on your pages but i can guarantee you the conversion will be much higher because who clicks on that ad know that you are selling something, and they probably are interested in buying.

have you installed tracking script so you can see the sales?

Also when you have a lot of clicks but no sales, i should suggest you concetrate on your website, (layout) the product (how relevant the ad are to what you are selling).
