Nobodys confirmed anything todo with a bag yet but say he had a 10k bomb on his back he'd ave to be a damn good runner to whip 20 officers chasing him
Teri Godly, who was also in the carriage when the suspected bomber boarded, said: "A tall Asian man with a beard and a rucksack got on after me. Then about eight or nine police with shotguns boarded after him and started shouting to us all 'get out, get out of the station'." looks like he had a rucksack! although you have to question the chineese whispers nature of eyewitness reports as she says the cops had shotguns
Lots of conflicting reports... I can't believe that if he was running away from that many cops that he'd have been able to keep going and still carry a heavy load. I don't know though - Never needed to do it.
I have a question. If he wasn't guilty of something, why would he run? And even if he wasnt a terrorist, your obviously at wat with some sort of threat. There will be casualties regardless. As long as the police are trying to secure your nation dont frown on them. Are you willing to personally pursue the terrorists? Be thankful that they are risking their lives. I like to believe that its okay for them to take lives (whether it was a mistake or not) as long as they working for you guys and fronting their own lives for the cost. Some gratitude for all of our nations protectors is in order.... just one man's opinion anyway
Exactly... LONDON (Reuters) - A man shot by police at south London's Stockwell underground train station on Friday was one of the people involved in an attempted bombing in the city on Thursday, Sky television said citing a security source.
Because people were shouting 'Get Out, Get Down' 'Run For Your Fucking Lives' and what not. Do cops shoot someone from behind when he has a 10K bomb on his back? Wondering what the procedures would be for such a thing.
Thats probably why they shot him in the head. Unless hes got a bomb on his head. But he probably knew cops were chasing him. Its not that hard to figure that out. There were how many cops?
Sorry, I just don't agree... Imagine if it was your son or daughter killed by mistake. ANYONE killed by mistake is not 'OK'... That makes me sick actually. I hate the idea of innocents being killed. OK, BBC say the guy was wearing a "Bomb Belt", and you're right - if he ran, he was most likely guilty - I just don't understand how you can take the attitude that life is so cheap. Everyone is an individual and deserves the right to live.
The reason I say by mistake is, well lets look at it this way. How often do we know 100% anything until after its too late? If this innocent life being taken prevents more other innocent lives being taken then is it not worth it? How you might ask? Well the police are doing their best and it just goes to show that they are trying. Being in their position there is a lot of stress and probably emotion that I personally couldnt handle. Im pretty sure none of them want to kill anybody but they do what they have to do. Your right, innocent lives shouldn't be taken. But sometimes thats not possible. Just lets not make the police out to be bad guys. Terrorists are bad guys, they are the ones who are taking lives without mercy, without justice.
No one has EVER said that the UK Emergency services have done a bad job. That's not even debatable. I'm just saying life is not cheap. It can't be replaced. Innocent lives lost to potentially save others is not an option. Full stop.
