Is the reported injury just die to the panic (ie. someone got hurt running out of there) or did they actually report they were hurt by a fragment of something?
from skynews TUBE BLASTS CONFIRMED Bombers have again targeted London's transport system - with up to four explosions reported. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair said the bombs appeared to be smaller than used in the attacks two weeks ago and casualties were light.
YFS1....I believe the injury was panic-related from what I saw on the tv...but it was obvious nobody really knew what they were talking about yet...
London Police confirm explosion on 3 subways and a bus windows blown out of bus no reports of injuries one person reported injured armed police have entered london university hospital reports of arrest at university college hospital yfs1 - have seen no news specific to the injury
how the hell can you blow the windows out of a bus without injuring anyone. This is not good news - I've got a major installation to do in RedBus tomorrow. /me thinks it isn't going to be a pleasant journey
Mella, from what I'm hearing, one of the suspected terrorists seemed to have chickened out at the last minute and took off running in that direction. Witnesses said he had wires protruding from the back of his jacket.
armed police have arrested a guy at whitehall right outside downing st! tony blairs about to give a statement but has been delayed but the guy @ whitehall being arrested
Numbers? 1 person was "slightly injured". Eyewitnesses couldn't confirm broken glass near the buss and that blast wasn't even loud enough to be heard outside the bus. Most significant numbers are that millions have had troubles travelling.
jesus, police have just shot a suspected suicide bomber at stockwell underground station. Its thought according to sky news he died as police have been given orders to 'shoot-to-kill' should they feel a suspect is about to detonate a bomb.
So if grow a beard and get a tan, go out as a muslim on a fancy dress party, wait for my train at the station and fiddle around in my bag trying to find my ringing phone I am in danger of getting executed on the spot. Nice world we live in. More fear will be spread so they can shove down the sheep's throat whatever they want. Might be time to move back to rural parts where life is more enjoyable.
Although if he was about to detonate a bomb it wouldn't matter where he was (ie his empty hands weren't in the air). The article doesn't say if that was the case or not though
Its the chasing part that I don't understand and this was while the other bombs were misfiring right? It is scary sometimes what is authorized in extreme circumstances. I do see your point T0PS
I think at the moment its too early to tell, but from skynews currently.. Alarmed onlookers said they saw police, some in plain clothes, chasing a man before opening fire. Reports said the suspect was pushed to the ground and shot five times at close range.
