Hello, I was curious - does putting more ads on the site mean less money? For example putting six ads on the page as opposed to one.
I personally don't like sites that are full of ads. It gives me the impression that the site is of low quality.
More ads does not equal more money. Results will vary from site to site but if you go overboard with ad blocks you are putting the lowest paying ads on your site and your site will just look spammy. - Dean
More ads = more crap on your pages and less satisfied your visitors will be More traffic = more money
Look at what the big sites like ezine articles are doing in terms of monetization. Then play around until you find a formula that works for you. Be careful not to drive people away with too many ads.
They don't always get more money, but as long as you don't make your site look spammy, you can probably add up to 5 or 6 ad units to your site (as long as you're inside Google's regulations of course). I have 4 ad units on my site, and it actually makes it look good IMO (my site is http://super-surf.info, if you want to check it). Just remember to blend them in, and put them in the pathof the user's eyes as he scrolls down the page.
More ads is not make more money. The reason as below 1. More ads make some non related ads display which is hard to get click 2. More ads make your website / blog loading slow, some visitor will just leave since waiting too long 3. More ads make your website/ blog look like advertisement website, some visitor dont like it, they will think this is just for ads without any good information
it depends on many factors but normally it is -more ads = higher CTR and lower CPC -less ads = higher CPC and lower CTR
For me 3 google ads is enough. If I could earn the same with just one ad then I would only be showing one.........
6 will verge on looking spammy, I think 1-3 nicely placed ads is your best bet, because readers won't think that your site is just made for advertising.
