Any income range between $1000 to $2000 will be good for a dignified living depending on your lifestyle. But I fear the percentage of people in the above said range will be significantly less when compared to the total population of India...
Well might be you not visited much rural areas. If I am not wrong most of rural area people earn around 1500 Rs to 5000 Rs per month and they are happy with that life. So $200 is enough for small villages. If you are talking about town and cities then you need atleast $1000 to $1200 per months to stay in high lifestyle.
If you live in village in India then 250$ is enough for a month and if you are living in metro city then 1000$ is also not enough.
if you live in a metro 400 to 500$ is more than enough to lead a comfortable life with your girl friend hehe..
If you live in city then you need atlest $1000.In Rural Area $300 is enough for 1 month. I believe in simple living,$500 enough for me.
I did not say everyone earns this much.... IMO you need this much..... Other ppl can think what they want
I can survive comfortable life in Los Angeles for $1,500 well thats if your fun is surfing and cooking most all your meals. So the average U.S income I would say is around $5,000 for a family. Anyone have statistics on that?
deadlychaos, do you think BMW takes only $400/month ? what if something broken ? Then $4k fee aplies, lol ErikJ, I read in latest Wikipedia update (2008) that average US income is $4k / month, I remember it was $3k some years ago. "I can survive comfortable life in Los Angeles for $1,500" ooops ? ohh..didn't read that "well thats if your fun is surfing and cooking most all your meals" makes sense then Being from Ukraine can say that no less than $1200 for good average living, well, 1 bedroom costs $400/month in my town in average. That's not a village Also 90% of people in 3rd world want to live in big towns. Better earning somewhere in $2k-$3k, guys from US, problem is that lot of things in US dirt cheap compare with all other countries.
