Hello friends, Please tell me if i change my meta tags monthly, Is this good for SEO or not? My team leader says it is bad for seo and he never change the Meta description for a Web Page. Please give your suggestions... Thanks for your help......
It will never do good to your website. It takes a time for Google to accept your new description, sometimes longer than 1 month! Google doesn't want to be fooled and if you change the description frequently, it will generate one by itself and won't take yours. P.S.: personal opinion
Now a days Google crawls faster. Hence, changing meta data of your site is not much affective to your site. When I change my site's meta data last time, Google crawled it within a day. So go forwards and change it
Once you optimized the website then not need to change or alter meta tags frequently. Changing the meta tags wont effect on SERP ranking but has to keep in mind that the same previous targeted keywords included in new tags.
It is not necessary to change the meta details every month if its required then only you need to change.
If there is no harm, there isn't any benefit either. As far as rankings are concerned, it depends on the new description and titles... it may fall or it may shoot up. I would advise not to change the description if you have stable rankings. If you do, that would be unnecessary tweaking.
If your results are not coming you can change, but if your website is good in SERP and also your doing Change in Meta description then it may never come again also. Search engine require time to fetch. If your existing meta tags are working with good results then dont even think about change in it.
First of all why should you change it's on monthly basis. It will effect to your rankings. If it's necessary you can change it. But it will take some to credit get back to you.

But changing it frequently just for nothing is really bad. Your rankings on SERPs might be among the important aspects that will affect your SEO.
If you change meta tags, it will take some time for Google to get that info and to show in search engine result pages. That is why it is not advisable to always change your tags. I suggest that if you really want to change it, give it some time to sit in. Maybe a few months. Also, it is much better to add tags that you wanted rather then change them all.
It is not good to change monthly your meta tags. As it will affect your page ranking.. Don't change your meta tags monthly.
