First real design site, unfinished: http://monochromedia.com/ I will add CSS later, also the tabs will be replaced with mouseovers to navigate between the 4 pages. Possibly a weblog in the future.
Need a little more "Graphic Design" displayed on the page... the site layout is clean and the color selection is good but no images to showcase your talents? Maybe a more graphical banner? Strucutre is usualy the hardest part and you seem to be on your way.
Oh, don't worry, there are 3 more paged to add and that one isn't even done. That page you see there is just going to be an "about us" page, but once I get the navigation tabs active you'll see a portfolio, weblog and contact page. EDIT: that big tab on the right will either be a search feature for the weblog, or a contact link - depending on a few variables. The small tabs WILL have text on them.
I like the general design - one thing i would say is make the inside content as good as the outside design. Its almost as though its a template and uve just wacked your own content inside it. If you make the inside section as good quality wise as the outside (which is excellent) your onto a winner!
Well, as the name implies, the site is partially in grayscale. I planned on having that color "frame" and having each page be grayscale (that white area inside the "frame").
Ahhh i see what you mean... when it was complete it was rather hard to see what you meant... perhaps it might be good to give those square boxes shades of different blue and even give the brissels of the paint brushes different colors to contrast with the greyscale element.
The site is visually pleasing, but I don't like the tone here: Sounds a tad narcissistic, I suggest highlighting the positive points associated with being a startup than make the introduction sound like a "history".
a very artistic site. The color surounds and highlights the b/w paint can image. Looking forward to seeing it finsished....
Thanks! Also, if anyone here knows a free, non-template-using, simple PHP blog script besides Super Simple Blog or OriBlog, please let me know.
