Anybody any advice for monitoring click fraud? Is there any cheap options to check log files or monitor traffic. I know clicktracks have log analysis that does it for about $4000 which is riduclous.

    Anybody any suggestions?

Why don't you use Google Analytics:
    https://www.google.com/analytics/
It gives you detailed logs about all your traffic, with that you can figure out who is clicking on you ads and muuuuch more.
    And its free ;)

It gives you detailed information from where the users are refered and what they have searched in the search engines, and many additional Information.
And it doesn't matter if its from Google, MSN or Yahoo, they all show up in your logs.
Just try it you will see by yourself.

You can use AdLogger (adlogger.org) to detect and avoid click fraud. Although it's only for AdSense program.

Thank you, I'm now running Analytics, how can you monitor click fraud through it? Theres a lot of options and I'm quite impressed with the detail but I can't find this section, I suppose you can look at entry and exit times to look for abnormally low periods of time spent on the site but its not too specific.

I've just started testing VeriClix (http://www.vericlix.com/) with some campaigns I'm running.

Simple interface, but it is free and requires minimal set up...

    Good Luck!
