Has Google provided any easy way to monitor if the traffic coming in from Adwords to see what percent of those users are clicking on ads or doing something worthwhile and what percent at just leaving? I've linked my Analytics account to my Adwords and Adsense accounts yet Analytics does not seem to see my Adwords campaigns. Instead I tried creating a goal in Analytics but how to I set a metric for incoming Awords traffic? They all seem to come from different domains so I can't set up a custom report based on domain. Worse, the goals only seem to track links internally, but when a visitor clicks on a link that leads to an external site it is not tracked. To top it off, Analytics has no way of showing which users are leaving though ads since their exit metric seems to target everything BUT ads. Their advanced segments has a metric for paid search traffic but it shows no results. It is the same company, why can they not get these to connect? Are they intentionally making it difficult to monitor the results? It seems like Google Analytics has such great information but getting it to display in any useful way is exceedingly difficult.
OK now Adwords has appeared under traffic sources in Analyrics (apparently it takes a few days after the accounts are linked), but the campaigns all show 0 traffic even though I know that is wrong. Also under content Adsense has appeared but it shows top referrers as 0. ARGH!
