Monitor help! Oh it hurts.

    I just bought a new LG L222WT monitor 3000:1 contrast and I can't read crap. It like a big bright white bulb in my face and the letters are so so small.

    What is the resolution at for the 2nd screen?

    Right click desktop > Properties

    Then go to the 'Settings' tab.

    Then click on which monitor it is 1 or 2 or if you just have that monitor, it will be that by default.

    Then for screen resolution change it and or color quality.

    That should work!

    well it is only one monitor and one screen

    but the resolution is set to the preferred (by LG) resolution of 1680 x 1050

    Any other resolution looks like junk on the screen but this resolution is so small it hurts.

    Cable not plugged in correctly, i spent ages trying to fix mine once, then i realised the cable was only half plugged in
