I am an Indian and just trying to get an moneybookers skrill account to accept payment but its not accepting my accunt. This is the third time i applied for skrill but got rejected. Any suggestion or help regarding this...
If i am not wrong you mean, they reject your id.They accept only passport. I have also try so many things include pan card but they reject it.
I suggest contacting Skrill directly. Claiming a company sucks because you have been rejected for some reason isn't the way to go about things. It's no secret that payment processors who accept Indian based accounts run the high risk of fraud, they are doing their job.
flexcarrera is totally right. And cant agree more. I have been using MoneyBookers for a long time now. Is not my main payment processor. But when my main processor isnt available or im having problems with the account, this is a good alternative.
Ask yourself why PayPal suspended it's services for India in 2010 and 2011. The risk of fraud is ludicrously high, and so is money laundering. It's scam central.
But the thing is not every fish in ocean is same. I think Indian financial institutes must discover some kind of e-money conjunction with visa.
Paypal stopped two services like personal payment, merchant can not withdraw money via local bank. It happens due to reverse problem. Well in 2011 , due to RBI policy they stopped personal payment policy & add pan card policy.Due to RBI policy, many virtual company withdraw from India in 2011. They ask for passport photocopy. If you did not have,it is useless to talk.
Guys the issue is that they directly rejected my application without asking for any documents like pan card, passport or driving licence.
hello buddy, u have no knowledge. paypal not suspend its service for india in 2010 and 2011. india'n govt suspend paypal . RBI suspend paypal . try to learn before post .
Make no mistake, I'm not your buddy. PayPal WERE forced to temporarily suspend it's services in India due new regulations set fourth by the Indian government in an apparent attempt to cut down on money laundering. PayPal was under NO instruction from RBI directly and worked with local regulators in order proceed with services in India.
Yes! Some of my friend in USA and UK has also face the same problem. They always applied for the merchant services in skrill to accept credit card payments directly from their site. But Moneybookers always rejected and reply that "Sorry We are unable to accept you at this time" instead of providing a valid rejection reason.
