    Hi,

I would like to get some advice here regarding Moneybookers. How does one receive money from moneybookers and transfer the money into their own bank account? I understand that it's free to receive money, in most countries, but let's say, I'm a seller and my buyer pays me via MB. So I have to register with MB before I can receive money right? After that what happens? The money goes into my MB account and I have to withdraw from it to bank into my own personal bank account?

Do let me know the process, including the timeframe.

I'm quite concerned as I've just sent money via my friend's MB to a seller and as we are both very new to MB, we're just wondering if everything's been done correctly.

For your info, the Status at my end here is: Processed....

I'm from Malaysia and the seller is from Puerto Rico. The amount is USD45

    Hello,

One can receive money via Moneybookers and you need to have a verified MB account to withdraw it to your bank. First you need to verify your location (It will take 3-6 days depending on the country) and then you will have to put your bank information like swift coute, routing number etc (it is instant I guess). So after that if you have funds in your MB you can withdraw it to your bank account and it takes 5-7 days to show up in your bank account.

and yes you have done the transaction correctly. When it says "Processed" it means money is now in Recipient's account :)

    Hope that helps.

Thanks so much Disguised! I feel much better now after reading your reply :) See if I understand this correctly....The receiver needs to verify his/her location first and that will take 3-6 days...and once verified, he/she will have to provide the neccessary bank details...

hmmm...all the codes...where to get them from? Is it readily available once location has been verified or once the bank name typed in?

Will the receiver be prompted, for.e.g notified by email, to do the next action? I don't remember receiving any emails to acknowledge or to prompt me (or rather, my friend) that a pending action has just been 'ok-ed' or something....my friend and I have to check it out ourselves...

    Thank you once again :)
