MoneyBookers [Question]

I really don't want to ask this in public but I guess I have to get ideas from what other think and how do they prevent their accounts from getting locked.

I've come to know that if you try 10 unsuccessful logins your MB account will be locked and they will most likely ask for the usual crap and verification documents , wasting your time.

How do you prevent this? I personally don't think it is a cool idea to block an account after 10 tries (not even consecutive) as anyone could just try 10 times you get your account blocked.

    What do you say?

I think thats better for everyone. If someone try to login to my account 10 times , I feel it more safer if MB blocked mine and ask for verification !

Well my question is not only what do you think about MB asking for verification documents, my question is if you don't want to get into hassle of sending all verification crap what would you do to prevent your account from getting blocked after unsuccessful tries.

Well my post was not random :D :p
Actually MB locking for many things, all are in their rules :)

I got locked too, for p2p transfers, somebody just reported me that I'm doing bad things. But they closed my account, well for no reason.

Anyway, if somebody would try to log into my account 10 times in a row, and they would ask for ID etc... maybe a call to call centre would do it faster :)
Because thery are REALLY slow in answers to email.........

You've again misinterpreted Melissa :) I was asking what steps you would talk to prevent your account if someone tries to get it locked by trying 10 times in a row with wrong password :)

Well I'm not sure but what about, using two emails and disabling that one which is for public?
I mean to which they are sending money, and for logging in you would use only one personal mail :D

Would took job to "enabling / disabling" mail, but then no one can log to your MB :)
(Enabled only when somebody sending money, after that disabling, so with that mail you can't log into MB, but also you cant receive money while disabled)

MY ACCOUNT > Profile > LIST OF EMAIL ADDRESSES > [Add/Remove] > here you go :)

Oh this is something new I am reading. Crap.......these e-currency platforms are going to be more & more difficult to be used smoothly & all these are due to bloody scammers.

I think this will do but more hassle every time you want to receive some money.

OK, here is the solution. always reserve one email address to receive your MB fund but don't add it to your MB a/c. Just collect fund to it & add that email once a week to your MB a/c so that all fund will be there in your a/c. after doing that, again remove that email from your MB as Melissa007 has told in the above post. By doing this you don't need to add & remove the email every now & then to your MB. But you must add that email to your existing MB within 14 days after getting paid otherwise your fund will go back to the source a/c.

I've added couple of more email addresses (2 very personal) to my moneybookers account and I only ask others to send payments to the email which is not private, even if it is not active. And I activate the email once a day to receive funds in my MB and then disable it again :)

Yes, you can receive Moneybookers to an email even if it is not registered with MB.

    nice thread and nice suggestions

but i still think that locking the account after 10 unsuccessfull retries and asking for documentations isn't good they can just lock it and send an e_mail to the account holder and give him a link to unlock his account

    anyway thanks for suggestions

but can someone give me a link to where this was said in moneybookers?

and by the way what do you mean by p2p transcation?

Yep Adel it really isn't cool ~ And I'm not feeling good about that myself but we will have to get used to this.

It is not on their site. Try logging in with wrong password and you will be sent an email with all information and remaining tries.

Tried to Google it and came up with nothing. I guess I'll have to do a detailed search

p2p = peer to peer , it means like to customer to customer, or friend to friend transfer :)
not like you>casino or you>seller, but you>friend/another customer transaction :)

    Hello
    Can I ask another question?

When you add another E_mail Address to your moneybookers account does it send a confirmation first to that e_mail ot it's just added instantly?

    Cheers
    Adel

Nice thread.. If any email is disabled in profile, do we still get money if someone use that disabled email to send the money?

When someone disables one of the email, it shows as 'unregistered' and it doesn't show any money in your Moneybookers account but when you enable it from your profile, you get the money. Though you get a confirmation email in your primary Email. It works just fine :)
