MoneyBookers question

Discussion in 'Payment Processing' started by arvind_srivastava, Feb 12, 2007.

I have been using paypal and e-gold both as payment acceptance options but I find memebrs are very hesitant in paying through e-gold and I am reluctant to accept paypal due to the chargeback problem.

Is moneybookers an answer to this.
What advantages and disadvantages does it have?

yes money is another option for fund transfer or received coz many members have ppal and moneybookers as their choice of transaction..but i think you need a cc or valid bank if you need the moneybooker funds transfer to you,,

in any case its better to have one that none...

btw the chargeback issue are solve if you have businnes ppal acc...

MB doesn't have so many merchant options like paypal doeas, like for example monthly subscriptions... The best place to read about MB is moneybookers.com :)

No chargeback possible at all in moneybookers. So once you receive it the money is yours even if the sender has sent you funds from a credit card, you will not receive a chargeback.

well, MB have a "Schedule payments" opion that could work as good as monthly subscriptions.

And, there are no charge backs at all using MB. Thats the best part using MB :)

thanks for all the info you DP members have provided me.
    Last 2 questions:
What sort of a payment option does MB have for paying my funds held in my account(Will it pay me through check like PP does)

Is a CC required for lifting sending limits as in PP?

    All help appreciated.

How does Moneybookers handle that? If a credit card company does a chargeback on Moneybookers it is automatic (per their merchant agreement) and they must pay it. Whether they pass it on to the customer is different matter.

I'm using moneybookers for already 4 years , Guys believe me it's the one of the best payment solutions ( they also have escrow service ). The main problem in MB is that they have withdraw limits

    1. If your account is not verified you're able to withdraw about 1200$ ( 90day period)
    2. If your account bank verified you're able to withdraw about 4500$
    3. if your acc is Bank , address and CC verified your limit is about 12000$

They have no Chargebacks all payments are final. Take my advice and use MB instead of paypal ( in order to avoid problems like chargebacks ).

Unlike paypal you'll not need to send any Id cards or copy of passports. And you can use your money on all gambling sites ( paypal do not allow it ) .

But as said " It is not as popular as paypal is " , but I think it'll be changed in few years :)

Oh I forgot to mention that Monebookers' support is not good (tested 4 month ago ).

But after all I think that in domain business the MB is better then paypal

    Hope this will help .

They will provide international wire transfer ( the only method ) and it had just 2.5$ fee , you'll receive the money directly to your bank account in 5-7 days ( I've always received in 3 days ) . You do not need to be verified in order to receive if the amount is less then 1200$ , being verified just will increase your withdraw limit during 90 day period
