I just tried to create a money bookers account. I live in the US and it said that US customers are no longer accepted. Can anyone confirm this? any idea why this is? Is there another popular payment source other than MB or paypal that many people use?
Yes this is correct. MB and most other money transfer systems don't comply with FTC guidelines on operating money transfer systems. A lot of this has to do with online gambling regulations, and anti-money laundering regulations. There's probably a good chance that a lot more are going to be closed to US customers especially since we have a government that is now going to want to regulate banking a lot more than it already is.
