Moneybookers Limited

    Recently Moneybookers limited my account :eek:

    Whenever i try to send money to someone, it says


    "Your account is locked for outgoing transfers and credit/debit card payments therefore we cannot complete this transaction.

    To unlock your account, you must provide us with scanned copies of the following documents:
    Your valid official identification document such as your international passport, national identity card or driving licence;
    Proof of address such as recent utility bill or bank statement;

    Please send them via email to: "



    I have shifted, so my address has changed. But i see no option in Moneybookers to change my address. What should i do ?

    The best is call them up.BUt its very strange that moneybookers started limiting accounts.LOL

    Moneybookers is acting strange now a days, Asking for an explanation for every transaction in the account, Even for a single dollar we owe them an explanation, Check your account messages if you have any message where in currency exchange had been mentioned or not,incase it is not, You can send them your documents and they will unblock the same, I also suggest you to call up the customer care and ask them for the specific reason for locking your account.

    They would inform you about the same and ask for some explanations, Provide them the same and hopefully you should have your account up running again

    I think you could send them your old utility bill with your old address and the new one at the same time. Actually, you should update your particulars as soon as they are changed.

    you should always ask people to write a small description about the money you r receiving and also write description when you send money

    that ways moneybookers is more confirmed about why this transaction is made

    they r very strict so follow some rules and you will not have any problem with them

    now since your account is locked give them you details like passport/driving licence and a utility bill
    and wait for some days , calling to the customer care will make it easy

    my account was locked too and it took 37 days to remove limitation
    so i guess you too have to wait for 30 days

    But the problem is thta i have changed my residence, but at moneybookers i did not update my address.
    And I dont have any old utility bills.

    How can I change my address there ?
