Its my first experience with moneybookers as I dont have paypal here in Pakistan But I must say I m astonished by their authentication methods. They are so fast. Got my account authentication letter from moneybookers in just 2 days. I hope to do more business online using moneybookers
Moneybookers is nice but unfortunately, most persons don't use it. I'm still trying to figure out how to transfer all my paypal money over to a moneybookers account.
i am looking at a motorcycle on craigslist..this is how the seller, who claims to be in london wants me to proceed...scam? this is my first contact from seller! Hi ........., Sorry for the dealy. The bike is in Atlanta (at MoneyBookers official location). Let me explain you how MoneyBookers works and how we can proceed: In order to start the official transaction, I need your full name and shipping address. As soon as I receive your info, I will forward it to MoneyBookers, they will start the transaction and notify you with all the instructions (payment, shipping, my account status etc) One of their agents will be assigned to handle the payment. You have to make the payment using the exact details they will provide you with and when the payment is complete, you have to send them the payment information, they will verify it and proceed with the delivery. You will have 14 days return policy, so you will have the chance to test and inspect the bike and decide either you keep it or not. If you decide to keep it, they have the power of attorney so they will transfer the title into your name and release me the funds, if not, they will be responsible for the return shipping and you will have a complete refund within 3 days. hi again, i am asking if moneybookers would likely have the motorcycle at their location....i thought they were a money transfer not an escrow/hold the goods/shipping type company. or, does anyone have a fone # in that atlanta office? email me please, thanks a lot.
Moneybookers is great because you can't get a chareback from another member. I think that's the main advantage over paypal! Once you get the payment it's FINAL! That might be a disadvantage for buyers thoguh i believe that it is possible to contact MoneyBookers about scams. But it's sure not as easy to scam as with paypal!
