Moneybookers and HDFC Netsafe

    Has anyone been able to successfully activate their account on moneybookers.com using a Netsafe card from HDFC bank?
    I tried activating my account yesterday and the transaction failed :(
    If someone's had success in doing so, please do let me know how its done.

    I was able to activate my paypal account 2 days ago using the Netsafe card from HDFC though.

    In addition to that, there is the option to add a bank account from India to your list of fund sources at moneybookers, and I have been able to add my bank account to my moneybooker account. But do Indian banks actually let you transfer currency to foreign bank accounts??

    Once I tried to check whether the MoneyBookers permit HDFC Netsafe or not , It did not work out ,but when I got my HDFC Credit Card , I verified it and they charged only 2.05 Euros from my CC.

    Even Payoneer Debit Cards are not helpful in verifying the Moneybookers account.
    I guess you would have to take real credit card to verify.

    There is a process called as SWIFT transfer , but you need to go to your Bank and tell them that you do want to send money to the Moneybookers account in specified currency. Bank will charge you some amount and then send your money to Moneybookers. They will update your account once they get the amount and your Bank account would be verified as well.

    Thank you Ajucoolest. I have got the SWIFT code for HDFC bank and already added my bank account to my moneybooker account. Only thing I wasnt sure of was whether Indian banks would let us transfer money to a foreign account. I guess I'll check with the personal banker at HDFC on Monday.

    Actually you want to add funds from you bank account to your moneybookers account or want to verify yourself at moneybookers ?

    If you want to verify yourself then go with address verification process as it's easy and take no more then 7-10 days.

    Thank you Don. I guess I'll have to get myself verified first before I can transfer funds into my moneybooker account from my bank account. The Netsafe card method for verification did not work and that's when I used the option to link my bank account to moneybooker.
    After I entered the HDFC Bank SWIFT code and my account number, moneybooker recognised my bank account, so now I guess its just a matter of seeing if the bank will let me transfer funds to my moneybooker account.
