Hello. I haven't used this system before, so I would like to ask somebody about chargeback policy in it. According to their FAQ However I have googled around and founded a couple forum messages (in russian forums mostly) about moneybookers account being blocked after receiving fraud money. Anyway, I have got a client, who want to pay using moneybookers. He is interested in pretty large package and I just wonder - maybe he is carder? Any ideas how can I protect myself? How can I check status of some account holder (verified/not verified)? Thanks, Andrew
I am not sure about your problem but i think so you can directly contact moneybookers and asked them about that person moneybookers id if he is verified or not and you can also tell them about your confusion .. They will surely help you Thanks PHYza
Moneybookers payments can have chageback. So you need to watch them. But their chargeback policy is relatively more stronger than PayPal. They do not just simply accepts chargeback claims by the buyer. They need to get convincing evidence that the transaction is fraudulent-payment is from hacked or stolen account-before they accept chargeback claim. There is a risk of loosing your sell. So you need to way here your risk.
to find out the money is payable or not I think it is better to get the same account to more easy access to sell and buy the transactions, more over to secure your transactions from suspect, you better verified the account to business account so that "No limit "applied that sometimes will make your credibility down as buyer or seller
Yeah, you are right. I also find couple posts in russian forums about moneybookers (also there are a lot of post how PP sucks). IMHO the best choise is wire transfer
I agree that moneybookers has some problems as they sometimes don't differentiate between fraud accounts and legit ones.. so when you recieve fraud money, you get your account suspended.
