Hi all, I withdrew money from paypal to one of my bank account which is inactive for 1.5 years, by mistake. I did it on Aug,18. I contacted paypal they asked to wait for 14 business days to trace money. I waited and they asked the Bank statement of the acc. to which i transferred my money. I explained them its a closed account and inactive for 1.5 years. After that no reply from paypal, I sent 3 more mails after that still no response from paypal. I transferred 650$ and now am starting to worry because its been a month and no solid solution from paypal. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!!!
You should have called them immediately, even asked them to transfer the call to their higher ups. Emails dont work well in these sort of issues.
If there is no bank account then money will be reversed to your paypal account..Once you contact the bank and see if the bank account still exist and if it i sexist take your money..
Hi,Thanks to everyone. I am trying to call paypal through skype with the numbers you provided. One time I talked with the rep, but the call disconnected unexpectedly. I am going to call them again now and see what happens. Thanks again for you all!!!!
you call them again and again and email twice and thrice a day. If any person your friend who have a pay pal account you tell him to prefer you. and call them for you.
The account was closed on ~march 2010. So its no more active. I even contacted the bank support directly and through mail, but they told no possibilities of credit/debit on an inactive account.
Oky, I talked to Paypal customer care, the lady attended the call explained me that as the status of the transaction is "Completed", the money is still with the bank and I have to contact them again along with the mail from paypal (which i received now). I am still confused and gonna contact HDFC bank now. Wish me luck!!!
Hi all, I got the following reply from HDFC. Will calling paypal CC is enough or should i fax them? please advice.
I'm thinking maybe you should do both... but I guess you could try calling first and see what kind of response you get and find out if there is a specific person to fax your info to?!? Good Luck!
