Hi all, I've got $1k to spend on building as many sites as possible. Obviously these will be built with revenue in mind. So does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? What sites should I build? What scripts should I purchase? Currently I've got my mind set on Greg-J's MSRS and possibly FlashGameScript. Please keep in mind that I'm not interested in spammy MFA article-type sites Cheers, Ponynugget
1) What are your hobbies? 2) Research on your hobbies 3) Write about your hobbies. 4) SEO your site 5) Money will start coming
The best sites would be sites on topics you know about or would enjoy learning about. I don't know if you will write your own content or hire someone to do it for you, but if the site is about something you enjoy you'll be more likely to keep at it. Also, I'd suggest focusing on 2 -3 sites at first. Getting a site up and running is easy, but making it popular and getting it known is extremely hard work. If you have too many sites you won't be able to spend the needed time on promoting each one. Rather stick to a few sites at the beginning, grow them to a profitable status, then start developing another 3 sites. That way you can spend more time on each site and after the first 3 have become profitable, you can use those profits to start and grow your other sites.
Thanks for the tips guys. I think that my main issue with building a fresh site is design. Usually I'll be too picky if something doesn't look good and end up ditching the project altogether. Am I better off buying a pre-designed template or using something like wordpress? Cheers, Ponynugget
I would recommend buying a website that is already making money and hire me to have it make more money
Hobbies are good advice, so is originality. Spend small amounts of money doing something really original. You may feel 'lonely' for a while, but the rewards will come.
try to hire a good programmer and create a unique script. If you have the ideea then you can become millionare Good luck
