Instead of using paypal, is there any online method for people to directly deposit money into a bank account which is specified?

In general depending on the country they can deposit the money direct into accounts using their own internet banking/bill payment system. If their bank doesn't offer internet banking then wire transfer is the way to go.

I'd say wire transfer, but it also depends on the amount you are planning to recieve. Sometimes it's not economical because the fees might eat up the rpofits.

All payment processors offer a wire transfer facility when you use them. So you have lots of options to accept payments apart from just paypal.

They all work the same, theres too many sites for me to explain each one, but the basics is :

Alertpay, Moneybookers, Google Checkout and Paypal plus lots others offer wire transfers

You add your bank account, they deposit a small sum in your bank account, you confirm that sum and then you can receive money to your bank. Some don't even send an amount to confirm a bank account.

All the codes you need are provided by your bank. In the UK they are printed on all bank statements. In other countries it tends to be a bit harder to find them.

I would suggest you search on google for "routing code (name of bank)" That will generally show you your bank's routing code. You also need either an IBAN or Swift Code these you get direct from your bank.

The routing code basically directs the payment to the correct country.

Use moneybookers, they dont ask routing number(or ABA) you just need to know the swift code and account number. Their service is very fast.
