I think paypal and ebay tried to do something smooth. I was making money on ebay, and gambling to make money which I made $350 gambling. Anyway I have a job, and do ebay selling and buying to make money. I knew my money was getting low, and checked all my paypal stuff. Added everything up from money recieved and money sent, and found out that their is $2,500 missing. All the transactions on paypal are legit, and I know every one made. I don't know what could've happened unless ebay/paypal could've taken $2,500 and not write anything down for a transaction. I have no clue what is going on, but everything I do makes me money. I only lost money on 1 thing I sold, but thats cause a horizontal line appeared before I shipped it out so I had to return the funds to the person, and sell the laptop with the vertical lines cheaper, and that stuff is in the paypal transactions.
If I were you I'd call paypal or do recalculate. Did you have any disputes open? If you did then the funds will be held until the dispute is closed.
I called, but then the phone went out. I gave up, and just contacted ebay, and they are contacting paypal for me. I recalculated 3 times. All came out to the same. Besides i knew I was missing money which is why I checked everything.
Watchout as ebay says they will do something and then the matter stays where it is. How long did ebay say it will take to resolve the matter?
they didn't say, but last time I got them to do something it was fast. I was supsended from ebay last year, but it was cause they didn't give me enough info on what I was doing wrong. I was just trying to sell windows xp pro, but they gave me a bunch of copyright violations, and then suspended me for a few months. I just got my friend to order, and sell stuff for me for a little while. It was all good. My friend had no money so I had to use his paypal account, and put my info in it, but everything worked out. Made sure I got rid of my info from his account. Did all that at school last year for my senior year. The teacher didn't care cause everybody watched movies, did drugs in class, sold drugs in class, played video games on the computers, had a big halo lan party, ect. Ofcourse when the teacher found out about the drug deals going on, and kids doing drugs in class the cops where called in, and it didn't look good. I don't know what happened, but I was not involved in that crap. I was just buying and selling electronics, and making money, but now I have no money cause I bought stuff I wanted, and got ripped off of $2,500.00.
Man sorry about that! But don't worry you'll get your 2.5k back. Just be sure to be on ebays back about the matter. eBay suspends you for almost everything. But there are always ways to get back on eBay and Paypal.
yea especially this time of the year when things get busy you are really gonna have to stay on top of them about this
ebay told me to call paypal so I did, and this time I found out that some stuff that happened wasn't on the payments sent. Anyway, thanks for your guys help. Ebay did suspend me last year cause like you said they can suspend you for just about anything so now I am paying bigger fees when using ebay, and I can't get power seller status cause of getting suspended, but that was last year.
