    Yes your branch must be able to accept international payments. So it needs to have Swift code. Otherwise you can't able to withdraw moneybookers funds. I was having a same problem when I got some moneybooker funds.

    All of the branches must have swift code, contact your branch, if not they must have some main branch accepting transfers like these.

    Which city you r from?? Just open an a/c with the Pvt. Sector banks. like HDFC or ICICI. or otherwise use SBI they have a wider network and low maintenance charges. I'm also using SBI for moneybookers and paypal. Hope this helps....

    let me help you

    its not necessary that you branch should have a swift code apparently you can use the swift code of the branch or city near you

    like if you are having a bank account in nagpur you can use swift code of mumbai as its the closest to that branch

    moneybookers take 4-6 days for transfer and if your account is in Us $ you will get better exchange rate than paypal

    i remember withdrawing money from mb it gave a exchange ratio of 1 usd = 39.37 and at the same day paypal gave me $38.09

    unlike paypal they charge a flat fee on withdrawal i.e. $2.97

    and if you are looking for your swift code of the branch check this thread, i also found out my hdfc bank swift code from this thread

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=290088

    hope your doubts are clarified

    I know ICICI cuts INR 25 per withdrawal. Don't know about any other bank.
