I tried with ICICI bank and it worked perfectly fine for me and took around 5 business days to recieve funds to my bank account.

Without SWIFT code, I dont think you will be able to withdraw funds from moneybookers. Try call the UTI customer care again....

Yes inderpal is right. Without SWIFT code withdrawal is not possible in Moneybookers. You have to contact your UTI bank branch for this. They have SWIFT code for sure IMO.

I guess all banks are having SWIFT code these days.

Anyway, if UTI doesn't have a SWIFT code then open an account with some other bank (ICICI, CITIBANK, SBI)....

Thanks for the input guys. UTI Bank has SWIFT Codes. They have codes for Erode, Karur Branches but not for Salem Branch. I contacted customer care and they give Head Office SWIFT Code. I entered it with MoneyBookers and it accepted it. I think i can transfer my funds from MoneyBookers to UTI Bank as it has anywhere banking facility and unique a/c no.

I will let you know whatz happening with Moneybookers to UTI Bank transfer.

    Inworx,
Your comments on town branch bank employees are very true.

But not all branches have SWIFT Code. And some of them have SWIFT code but their BIC are not connected to SWIFT Network.

Find your bank's swift code details here.

Don't waste your time by asking indian govt/bank employees. ;)
