Money Back Test!?! Good or Bad?

I'm not so sure I like what this affiliate is doing to promote my product. He has a site called the Money Back Test. He basically buys products and requests a refund. Then he reports of whether or not the refund was given in a timely manner. His report contains affiliate links to the products.

Example of his report on my product: http://www.moneybacktest.org/i-want-a-teaching-job/

Now I'm not sure what to make of the site.

On one hand, I think it's an interesting twist on consumer protection. I also think it's creative marketing strategy by the affiliate.

On the other hand, it seems like he's basically inviting the consumer to ask for a refund. It's like a big sign, "This guy is easy about giving refunds, so buy his product and return it."

I'm interested to hear others' thoughts on this site. Do you like the idea or hate the idea?

P.S. My opinions aside, I do find it fascinating to see how many vendors DON'T honor their refunds.

Very interesting indeed, I'm not sure how I feel about this site either.

As you said it's good in a consumer protection type of way but as you mentioned it also promotes serial refunders.

It probably should have focused on the product itself in some way because if the product delivers what it promises to then why would you need a refund?

It would be one thing if the guy was putting direct links on the products, but he is posting products with his affiliate links in them. So...I think it kind of sucks. I haven't checked to see if the same hop id is used, but I'm surprised Clickbank, Paydotcom, etc. hasn't picked up on the pattern of returns. Conclusion, this guy is getting products for free and making a commission off of the same products.

I think it may actually be a good sales/marketing tactic.
Although, I think it could be executed a little better.

Everyone knows that having a Money Back Guarantee is really a good sales tactic that puts the customer at ease and helps make the sale. This guy is just going one step further and CLAIMING to have verified that this product does in fact honor their guarantee. I highly doubt that the site author is actually taking the time to buy the products and get the refunds...I think it is simply a sales tactic. He knows that any clickbank product HAS to honor the guarantee, so it is easy for him to claim to have verified it.

Now, if he was smart, he would also add a review of how great the product is!
