Monetizing Ideas Needed

    Any suggestions as to how I could further monetize my social bookmarking website? I'm using Adsense and I'm testing out Project Wonderful (the ads above the categories). PW is a bidding system so I started the minimum bids low.

    The site's only 3 months old and I get 100-200 uniques per day and 10-20 new sign ups.

    Don't monetize too early, if your site is building up at a good pace wait till you reach a higher UV daily and signup's. Ton's of decent looking sites die early because of Monetization brought on way too early.

    I like the look and name nice idea.

    To be honest, I would forget about that site and use the domain for something else. There are already lots of social bookmarking sites and people just won't use the small ones if you don't offer something so unique or heavily advertise it.

    Your could sell advertising, text links, or use affiliate marketing (for the "dating" niche).

    I agree.. there are really a huge number of famous social bookmarking websites, you could use this domain for many site ideas.

    Yes, a topic specific social site is the best, but once your site builds up enough visitors consider adding a banner to a clickbank product or general product related to your site.

    That a good start.Where you promote it?
    Before you start offering ads service,you're advise to have a very active member that keep posting at your site.
    Coz if the advertiser see your site is not active,they will not even willing to spent a single cent on it.
    You can try use sponsored feature which mean that the post will be always at your frontpage that will create max exposure to traffic.

    When your members register they sign up with their email, right? Why not include a little checkbox, which says something like ( "Yes, I would like to receive cool discounts and promotions from time to time" ). Leave the checkbox, checked by default, than email promotional CPA Offers, to your members. A typical CPA Offer in your field will pay $20 for successful free registration in a social network or dating website. Even if only 10% of your members register, you will cash out $2000 per email sent in case you gave 1000 members (easy to achieve). Ow - and please remove the Adsense blocks! Believe me- you will lose much more money (members), than you will make. :)
