Monetizing high traffic sites

Hi All

I currently have a few sports websites that are getting in the region of 30 - 50 K uniques per day.

I have tried so many networks, from adsense to cpaleads etc and cant really get past the point of 50 dollars per day in revenue.

Any ideas from anyone would be great, i would even be willing to push the traffic we are getting to a advertiser on an exclusive basis and rebrand my sites for the right price

i think you should get advertorials from local companies directly so you dont pay commission to adsense,cpaleads etc and you dont get 2 cent for click

 

hey try getting an Event Brite affiliate account. Maybe you can sell sports event tickets on your site

Try to find companies that related to your site and ask them if they want to advertise in your site. I get $2-3 each day from adsense but I have also adv from companies related to my site and they are paying 300-500% more.

 

Your never going to surpass $50 a day with "A few sites getting 40-50 unique hits a day". That kind of traffic isn't ever going to get you anywhere.

 

I have a site (other one that I mentioned before) and I have adv there, the rev is $2500 a month (FIXED, contract for a year). I can't put google adsencse and stuff like that because I have porn there and some other stuff.

 

If your site cannot make good money with Adsense and CPA lead even with a quite high amount of visitors. I assume your niche is the main problem and not the numbers. You may consider to monetize these ways.

1. CPM Banner - You will get paid by impression of banners

2. Custom Advertising - You will get paid monthly at fixed rate, upon agreement dealed with advertisers

3. Build Specific Market place related to your niche - You will get paid by membership cost.

4. Build some unique services related to your nice - You will get paid by membership cost either.

My sites are getting 40 000 Uniques - 50 -000 uniques per day with around 150 000 pageviews per day

 

Can someone guide me about Custom Advertising Network?

 

It all depends on the traffic.

How targeted is it? What industry? Is it some kind of forum site?

 

Have you tried stubhub the sell event tickets ... last I checked they had an affiliate program.

 

I, for one, really can't tell you anything without first seeing your sites.

If your visitors are not staying that long, or they are not going to another page, there is part if not your main problem.

 

i would go wit cpalead if your traffic is that high you should make at least $5k a day
