Monetizing Games on Mobiles?

Yo! I am about to launch a game & I want to monetize it when played on mobiles/portable devices as well. I have the web based side covered with In game ad's, but these are flash based & wont display on some devices.

I want to display mobile ad's specifically for mobile users, for instance when they chose to play the game in full screen on a mobile device.

Has anyone had success or can anyone suggest a mobile publisher platform for developers?

I'm intending to launch the game on Facebook, so it must be acceptable by Facebook as well.

    Cheers!

If its a website you can use adsense 320x50 adverts if your website can be accepted and you follow all the rules on placement or any other ad networks which has those type of sized adverts but be aware most ad networks (apart from Adsense) have crap quality adverts / payout for this size for mobile devices.

If its a Native Application then use admob (owned by Google) or iAd (Apple only) to the Android version of iAds

i had a look admob, not bad for when I launch into native app's. At the moment I am launching on Facebook, I'll probably have that covered with intergi in game ad's - but they don't allow you to have ad's off your site/on other domains... which is why I am after something to incorporate into the game file, so if i upload to arcades I can display the ad's. I tried to find arcades with revenue share without much luck, mochi looks good - but it's just for flash games. I'll stick to that size - 320x50.

Hey there, I think Fidelity Media will be good fit for you. Also you can check general "BIG" networks.

Consider trying Chartboost and Revmob for mobile games.

Argghh... it's doing my head in lol. I've looked into those suggested above, Glispa Media - seems to cover most angles, the majority are focused on A) Online content or B) Mobile/apps.. there's not many that cater for both. Then there's the issue of getting a foot in the door, it's hard to make money if you can't get ad's, if you're not making money it's hard to advertise... if you're not monetized then what's the point in running ad's.
