    If you going for monetization then I suggest you host it somewhere and and get a domain too . Blogger is free service and you never know when they delete your account / blog and then all your hard work will go in vain !

    Get a custom domain for your blog, and that will make your blog looks far more professional.

    I also vouch for your own host/domain, as it will give you far more flexibility and security. However, going with blogger.com, wordpress.com or similar is not a bad way to start if you're new in the business and want to get started fast without too much hassle.
