    I'm working on a fun new Barack Obama-related site, and of course I'd like to make money from it as I'm convinced I can get good coverage on, and traffic from, many of the political blogs, even though the intellectual level of the site will be round about LOLCats... (and I see LOLObama exists)

    So, as I suck at Affiliate Marketing (Copeac recently emailed to threaten me with account termination for no conversions, but that's another story) I thought I'd ask opinions here about how you might monetize such a site.

    Probably adsense would be your best bet. You'd have such a large demographic with a site like that so it would be hard to get targeted ads.
