What is everyones opinion on monetizing a site that sells a product? I am looking for open opinions and suggestions? Thanking you in advance
I would think the product sales would be the monetization...... Are you speaking of offering additional products or services? That could cannibalize the earnings if you push visitors to a 3rd party site to earn a few cents....
I am just seeing if there are other ways to monetize a site that sells a single product that a site is built around?
Of course there are other things you can sell, most everything has something related that could be sold. The question is do you want to cannibalize your main product to make a few cents, selling something else just to make a sale?? If you're not sure what to do, then you may need to learn some basic business tenets.. before losing money on something you seem unsure of....
I don't recommend drawing the focus away from the product you're selling. If what you're doing isn't producing the amount of money that you want it to then you need to do something different to make more sales or create another product and put up another site.
