Monetizing a music niche website

I have a music niche website. Basically, it's a music search engine, but not like most MP3 search engines that pop up everyday which are based on 2-3 PHP scripts searching through eSnips, Wrzuta, 4shared and similar services.
No, visitors on my website search for music, and I provide them with direct download links from my server (with the full server download speed), so I can say it's a bit different from most music search engines.
I've recently added a kind of a news blog where I post various news from the music world, so I have a textual content too.

I've been using XtendMedia's CPM banner ads for the last year or so and I've seen some nice money with it, but I had to drop them since their rates went really bad lately ($0.05 eCPM for US traffic). I've been using ringtones offers and I also seen some nice money with it.
I also tried relevant CPA offers with MaxBounty but without much luck.

Most of my visitors come from US and those follow: Germany, France, UK and Turkey.
I'm receiving around 1000 UV/day with 6000 PV/day. It used to be much more, but I had some serious troubles with server hosting due to site's nature. However, it's starting to grow up again, so traffic count should not be the problem.

I'm looking for unintruisive solutions, and I'm not interested in having pop-ups, layer ads or interstitial ads.

    I'm opened for ideas. Thanks!

Put a CPAlead widget on it and require users to complete a survey before they download their music file. You will earn around 50 cents to $10.00+ per offer completed.

    Example:

I'd look at affiliate programs such as iTunes or Napster? It's worth a look and it's more relevant... do you have any idea on your CTR rate? Either that, or use an affiliate program that has an ad gateway show for 30 seconds a day per visiter?

@CPALeadTroy: Well, to be honest, that would also be a kind of intruisive solution which I'm not looking for. However, I might add a kind of premium content and protect it with your widget and everyone would still be able to download regular music files for free. I haven't logged into my CPALead account for months, and I'll definitely have to take a look to see what kind of solutions you offer now.

@atxsurf: I believe AdSense is not allowed on such websites due to websites' nature.

@Grit.: If I'm linking to iTunes or Napster, I'm actually telling my visitors to go to the competition websites whose offer is not free, btw. I won't be risking loosing visitors for few bucks.

Thank you for taking your time to write on this thread. I'm still open to any other solution!

cpal3ad is probably the best choice right now. if you are looking for instant solution you can try this one and as you progress you might came across with other opps then you can just replace it. i believe time is gold so if your site is up and running now don't waste any time, monetize it right away.

Then how about promoting products from Clickbank like how to play the piano, sing and dance?

We provide autocompelte service to main music sites such as lyrics.com, azlyrics.com and dilandau.com.
To see the service in action, try writing in one of these websites's search box and watch the suggestions window comes to life.
Notice the relevant ad in the bottom of the suggestions window.

We also have a new browser addon you can offer your users and get paid for it.
Contact me if you are interesting.

@Alfonso_Montenegro: I can't sign up with Clickbank since my country is not in the list on registration page.

@pad: I'm already using PredictAd and I got paid once, but it seems to me your counter isn't accurate. It says I'm having 200-350 searches per day, but I know it's at least 5 times more than that.

    Heya,

I have a software that is aimed at music enthusiasts and is doing really well right now in the clickbank world. Take a look here, payouts are nice and there's backend monetization as well. aff page is linked on the bottom. I have a few affiliates that run similar sites and they do well with their campaigns.

Feel free to give it a go.
    N.

EDIT: Sorry, I see now you can't sign up to CB, shame!
