Hey All, currently I have a local site I've been working on, and I was looking for better ways to monetize that I might not have thought of.

How would you monetize a local site with a wide range of visitors?

Well the only thing that comes to mind is selling your site's inventory on our advertising platform at Aductions.com. Where is the smiley face when you need one.. -)

contact local business and mid boggle them with how great your site is for local people - they'll buy an ad - make sure it's cheaper than the local papers.

That's marketing, i'm looking for monetization.

I've thought of contacting local businesses, but haven't taken the time yet.
