help with monetization of traffic

I am getting so much traffic to my website and was wondering if anyone can advise on the best way to monetize this ie: not through adsense,

I thought about pop under advertising, but not sure, where and what and how much they pay

can anyone advise please

 

Go to sites as your own (or possible not) and contact the advertisers there. Click on their ads to go to their sites, and send them an e-mail.

Quite possibly they are looking for more sites to advertise in.

Also check out search engine advertisers. Like Adwords, Yahoo, and MSN.

 

You will probably have better luck with high paying affiliate programs through Commission Junction then trying to get direct advertisers.

Would you mind telling us what niche/subniche your site is in, and are you attracting targeted traffic, or just general hits that don't really belong to a specific demographic? Without this information it'd be hard (not to mention irresponsible) for me to recommend any monetization strategy in particular.

There are other options as well other than ADSENSE. No doubt ADSENSE is the best.
Other good options are BIDVERTIZER, CHITIKA.

 

The more traffic you have the more chances to generate more income through affiliate program because you can have more prospective buyers.

 

I would think about using affiliate programs and or CPA. It really depends on your niche, but you can more than likely find an affiliate product to promote if you do some searching.

You can also try contacting advertisers and charging for advertising space.

 

Study where your traffic comes from, their demographics ect...
Then just pick your affiliate product based around that information.

 

I monetized my site with clickbank affiliate products (using bannes and classified ads) that is same niche with my site and it makes me more than $2,000 bucks per month, so why don't you try the same thing if you are getting good traffic

 

I think google adsense is very good ! Because it places the advertisements directly . Try adbrite next choice !

 

Depending on the topic/targeted keywords of your site, but highest paying is CPA or clickbank products.
It only works if the keyword and content matches, so for most other part I would still recommend adsense.

Popunder ads is an aweful idea, it just annoys people. Affilliate programs relating to your content is a good idea - try commissionjunction, or google affilliate network.
