what bothers me the most about this is that she gave it to him at age 11? a grade 5...if it was over the age of 16, id think its up to her//
And here I was giving my kid Thomas the Train stuff as a reward during potty training. Where did I go wrong?
I think it's irresponsible at any age but especially that young. I mean what kind of a future could he possibly have under the 'guidance' of that "mother"??? you've got time. maybe you can incorporate some sort of reward system for learning ABC's. Say your ABC's, & who wants RUM&Kool-Aid??????
one of my dorm mates mom is like this, she likes us to come over to his house and get stoned, really freaky hey?
I don't approve of giving a 5th grader pot as an incentive for doing homework, but this is worth reading:... http://www.perkel.com/politics/issues/pot.htm
"Pot is the drug of choice for people who want to get high, but be responsible in getting high." no way chief, give me an old school Sharpie (metal casing)...that's the stuff!! OH, but be responsible.
Update::: Stoner mom has just been nominated for mother of the year... jk... that is rather disturbing.... 5th grade is a little young... Thats like all these articles there are now about 6th graders sleeping with each other... wth...
Yeah that is not really setting a good example using drugs with your kids they probably wont turn out good and you just made him become a addict.
It really isn't as addictive as you think it is. Trust me on this one And wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marijuana#Health_issues_and_the_effects_of_cannabis
At least the mom had her priorities straight .... no doping until AFTER you do your homework. A lesser mom might have caved.
Uhh not exactly. There's a wide gap between the "addiction" we are talking about, between crack & weed. Why is it acceptable to smoke a cigarette, have a beer or consume caffeine and not marijuana when the health risks posed by marijuana are significantly lesser than those by alcohol & tobacco? Simply because it is illegal?
