MODx CMS is getting popular and I don't need to explain why (AJAX + SEO what else can you ask for?!). vBulletin is the best forum software ever, you've got to admit that too. We are working on a solution that will allow full integration of these two scripts. We will be releasing the beta version on May 10th on our website http://BanzaiTokyo.com Meanwhile you can drop by and leave us your comments about what in particular would you like to see in our script and we might include this feature in our next release. so, check out www.BanzaiTokyo.com for updates.
great bit of news. MODx is my favourite CMS and I've built a few sites with it recently. So now they are planning to integrate it with VB sounds like an awesome system. Can't wait
Good news. Please explain few lines about what you are exactly aiming to do by this integration. I mean, is it just single registration / login (sharing same member data) for both applications or is it much more than that ? Some details about what you are implementing will be helpful...
Thanks for your comment, Blade007! And don't forget to post your ideas and suggestions for the integration on BnazaiTokyo.com Such an experienced webmaster must have plenty to share
at this point it is sharing the same member data, but the goal is to create an ultimate integration system that will include the most useful features suggested by webmasters like yourself. Please, post your thoughts on BnazaiTokyo.com
Hi resurepus I've left a little comment on your site. Looks good! Are you a MODx developer? Can you develop MODx?
Hi, Blade! I have already posted a reply on BanzaiTokyo.com and, yes, we are web developers and among other CMS we work with MODx as well.
just wanted to let you know that our integration script has been released. You can test it on our website banzaitokyo.com the script is free but to get it you will need to request it on our forums.
wow, that's big news - a free (and stable/feature packed) CMS that integrates with vbulletin is pretty difficult to find. The only other one I know of is Subdreamer and it costs an up front + annual fee.
