    Hello!

A friend of mine asked me to modify a bit his css file for the website he owns. I can code in html and css, but i've only worked locally till now, projects from school etc. I don't really know what does the design for this site imply. Do i need access to his domain? I mean, i'm going to change pictures and they have to be uploaded somewhere. Is there another software i am supposed to use? Are there other hosting details i should know?

    Thanks!

Which script does he run ? Just ask him a copy of it and modify it. Alternatively, you can use Firebug plugin for Firefox and edit the page in real time without causing any issues to the live site. Changes are limited to your browser and will vanish after a page refresh.
