Modifying Adsense unit size

I need to modify the adsense image unit to fit my header, the usual 728 x 90 won't fit so I need to make it about 670 x 75 or something along those lines. I know in the TOS it says you can't modify the code, but I wasn't sure how lineant they are about the modification of size. I'd ask Google directly, but unfortunately their customer service department is run by robots.

It is strictly against their TOS to modify the code. Only premium publishers have the luxury of more ad formats and sizes - we have to stick to the standard sizes.

No Google does suck ... they just can allow everyone to resize their ads on demand. Just think everyone is starting resizing ads then advertisers have to allow their graphics to be resized and every time you resize any ads they will be paid in different rate.

One more question: If Google sucks, then who does not?
