Modify script/plugin: How to add "by author" to wordtwit tweet?

    I have seen the tweets of techcrunch contain "by author" (in this the author is the link to the twitter profile of the author who made the post)

    For example:-
    Groupon Buys Mob.ly, Opens Silicon Valley Office - http://tcrn.ch/cJGmfu by @evelynrusli
    SlideShare Now Supports Business Videos On Professional Content Platform - http://tcrn.ch/bzDK9H by @leenarao

    Its a cool feature for multiauthor blog.

    How to get this done?i have seen the options,and i guess it doesn't directly permit such a thing.

    Please help.

    TechCrunch seems to be using IntenseDebate comment system. I have my own approach to that if I were to make my own comment system with Twitter, but it's not the best one as my knowledge in PHP is pretty limited.

    no i am not talking about the comment system.

    word twit sends auto tweets with the post title and url when a new post is made.

    i want to know how they modified it to add "by author" to the end of each tweet.
