I've recently upgraded my Linux box to a new version of the OS (Mandriva) which among other things wiped out my Apache config but that is another topic for another forum. Unbeknown to me until after the fact, it upgraded me to Apache 2 (not a bad thing but I was not prepared for that yet). The bottom line is that I am trying to recover and cannot seem to get some things working, one of which is authentication via MySQL. It seems that all of the directives generate an error indicating the mod_auth_mysql library is not being loaded. Can someone help me figure out why it will not load (if that is indeed the problem) and/or why none of the mysql directives are recognized? TIA.
