This may be a silly question but I am not to proud to ask it. If I do a mod rewrite say something like this: whatever.com/657/ to whatever.com/657.html will that rewrite keep the pr from the old name or will it be pr 0 once I upload the page?

    Any help would be thankful.

it will be considered as a new page. I think you should use 301 redirect to help tell google that you have a new structure.

Thanks guys, I was afraid of that. I wanted to change the url of a few pages but people are paying for those links so it would not be right to do it if those pages are going to be 0.
