I'm having problems with my .htaccess file and Wordpress trackbacks.

I recently changed my post permalink structure from /%category%/%postname%/ to just /%postname%/, yet the trackbacks only respond to the former URL address.

How do I setup an mod Rewrite so my trackbacks work at the new URL?

    Thanks.

Please change .htaccess file permission to writable before changing trackbacks.

Otherwise paste the code ( which appears when you change the trackback in footer of admin panel ) to your htaccess file.

I think it's too late for the first option. lol

Where exactly is the code on the admin panel? I'm using Wordpress 2.0.6 or whatever, the newest version behind 2.1

Couldn't find this code you are referring to.

Look at the bottom of the page where you edited the trackback..
If not, give me your wordpress login details, i will help you in finding it out.
